1 YEAR DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY (DipCM)
The Diploma in Christian Ministry (Internship) DipCM, is a great course to help you develop in your relationship with Christ. It is an excellent combination of normal Bible College Papers, full-on ministry, and great training and development from local ISMNZ (International Student Ministries of New Zealand) mentors.
What does the year look like?
The way this year works is pretty unique. You will need to do a minimum of 15 hours of ministry, and 15 hours of study each week. Most students do a lot more than this because they enjoy the ministry and study so much. You can see the papers you will do listed below. The lectures are during block courses that run six times each year for a full week. The ISMNZ papers are done in your local area where you will meet for workshop-style training.
What kind of qualification do I end up with?
This is an NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) approved qualification. Doing supervised ministry enables interns to benefit by learning from experience leaders in a hands-on practical context through ISMNZ.
What will I study?
Each ISMNZ intern completes the following core subjects plus ISMNZ subjects:
SUPERVISED MINISTRY
BIBLICAL STUDIES FOR MINISTRY
THEOLOGY FOR MINISTRY
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
ISMNZ COURSES
(delivered as fortnightly workshops in your local area)
