Regular Meetings

An ISMNZ gathering with internationals participating in a discussion

Whether you need help with English language, or friendship, community and support group as you adjust to the cultural life in New Zealand, or are interested in finding a Christian group on campus, we are here to help.

We have meet-ups in most major cities with universities where international students can meet friends, eat food, play games, learn aboand explore Aotearoa New Zealand together, as well as share lives and build a community during their time here.

Feel free to contact our staff workers to join our friendly gatherings!

"I came to New Zealand thinking my English was good. But the moment I sat through day one of orientation, I was confused. After the meeting, one of the ISMNZ workers who was there helping to serve food asked if I was settling in okay. He sensed I looked lost. After a brief conversation he invited me for a "cuppa" (something hot to drink) and we have been friends ever since. His kindness helped me adjust to student life in New Zealand very well, and the support of others he introduced me to made my studies and personal life go well. I am grateful for the ministry that ISMNZ provides to international students."
